SPLICE on connectors from the Legacy engine harness so i can plug into all of the correct legacy engine sensors
For most stuff his will be unnecessary; the connectors are the same. Exceptions might include the TPS and pressure sensor. Use the cam and crank position sensors from the EJ18.
yeah thats what i meant, i know ill need the TPS and then the new wires ran for the boost stuff and their own connectors.

i have crank and cam sensors from both engines, and so ill do what you said and leave the 1.8 ones in since they dont give any different signal.. (just dif plugs)

no i have both the FULL car harness, hell, including rear tail lights, and the Legacy ECU. the legacy ecu will be running my engine.

i was wondering... does all the ignition stuff take care of itself? i know it gets turned on by the ECU, but thats it right? the rest is fuses and such?

No, you have to do something with the ignition relay. I'm pressure sure I've described the details in another thread.

ok ill go look around, but there is a spot on the 1.8ECU that is "ignition relay" and i was just going to put that on the same corresponding spot on the Legacy ECU. shouldnt that be it..?
