If I remember right, the one I saw did the battery relocate to the trunk ($50 kit) and then dropped it in where the battery was. But maybe that was phil's erector set tank set up...
It physically would fit there but I'm not sure if it would be in a position to be mounted.

Wait, I did have a WRX tank in the original location for the stock tank there for a wire, but it wasn't mounted, it was tied with wire so it wouldn't fall. Not the ideal set up..

Yeah, Phil has his where the battery used to be.
We did put the WRX tank in the stock location on your car, but it was slanted at an angle. Even if it had been rigidly mounted instead of held in with baling wire, it wouldn't have been a long-term setup, since the cap wasn't the highest point. And it wouldn't have cleared an intercooler anyway, I don't think.

The return pipe was built to clear the stock tank, which is still intact.
As we all know, these are fragile and so far not available at my favourite junker.
The answer is to have about a dozen made up. I'm going out to the speed
shop today and will find out if this can be done at a good price.

There is an interesting coolant tank in www.nfauto.co.uk.
Anyone who might need one-- take a look and tell me what you think.
