Why would the gas tank have to move?

I thought of doing a similar thing myself if I ever needed a truck. Think I'd go with a hearse, though. Needs rear-facing seats in the bed.

Yeah, needs rear facing seats with no belts.
Looks like he couldn't decide between making a WRC lookalike or a truck, so he went both routes.

That kind of reminds me of the legacy truck I saw in Quakertown, PA about 6 months ago. It was a 90-91 style wagon but hacked into a pickup, though it didn't look as good as this one. I did like it though.
