boost at lower temps

Post by Subtle »

The high setting on the Profec B has been at 12 #. No change since.

With the cooler weather( 40 F ) and WOT its been registering 14 #.

Seems OK-- the wideband (with no change in the ecu) is still showing rich at 11.75.

The acceleration has noticeably improved.

However, given the half-life of performance increases, within a month or
so more is needed :o

Quite good compared to stock or on a previous car I had turboed and used a MBC.

The low is set at 8 and the high at 12. The only creep up has
been from 12 to 14 as the temps declined from summer ranges to around 40F. Boost climbs fast to the limit and then the gate is opened quickly

Back to a high setting of 12 as the extra boost with the vf11 doesn't add
much more go.
