I know someone asked about this before, however I can't find the thread to post the info in, so I'll start another one.

I apparently had the info, just didn't know it. It also has engine decoding info as well.

Interesting. That last numeral in the trans code must be for year of manufacture, not MY.
According to that, the trans I have from a '91 SS is from 1990 since 1=1990.

Yeah...for the most part is manufacture year. The 90 & 91 MY's all seemed to have the 1990 code for their transmissions.

I think what that's indicating is that the transmission design did not change between those years.
