which td05 to use?

which td05 to use?
I'm planning on getting a td05 16g from Deadbolt (or a used one if I can find the one I want). Deadbolt has the straight, 90 degree, and rotated housings. Which one installs the easiest on a TMIC, AWIC, or FMIC (I haven't quite decided on which IC system to use yet)?

The straight housing will not work on our cars due to the intake runner design. You will have to go with the 90 or the rotated. I personaly am going with the rotated design because it fits closest to our original turbo, and it would only take a few changes to fit a FMIC from a WRX/STI. ( Yes, I too am taking this route come summer of 06)

How would the rotated design fit better/more like the original turbo then the TD05 with the 90 degree inlet?

It's closer to 20-30* from top. It would be easier to adjust a few degrees off the angle from stock then to go from the 90. But then if you are going to FMIC, either one will work, as you are going to have to have custom FMIC pipes made. But you have to move the 90* up pretty fast due to the intake.

The rotated compressor outlet version helps to clear the PCV plumbing. If you decide to do a tmic like the Saab 900, then the rotated outlet is worth getting.
If you decide to run a tmic like the MY02-05 WRX, then get the the regular 90 degree inlet version. You'll have to customize your PCV plumbing (not that big of a deal) but that's the only way to use the WRX Y-pipe.
If doing a fmic then either would work really, but the rotated would probably be easiest.

No, the VF11 has a compressor outlet that is at a 45 degree angle to the compressor inlet.

Yes, I think that is what it means. The only thing I'd watch out for is the OD if the 16 where it connects to the plastic tubing. I'm betting it is larger than the diameter of the tubing.
