lol, i was thinking of using a replica one, seeing as it can't be too much heavier than a legacy gt spoiler. any valid reason for the trunk not opening or was that just sarcasm... it's been a long day and my sarcasm radar is down :)

It'll open..it just won't stay open. I would think that the wing would weigh it down too much to stay open.

 wrx people.

All I can say is that wing will not provide 40lbs of effective downforce at 60mph.

What wing are we talking about, though? The flat cf-looking one that was chopped into a photo on the first page?
I suppose that would look alright on our legacies, as the stock spoiler is also low. But someone was right, that wing looks like an apc part.

:-D

Young'n, you don't know nuthin' 'bout no spoilah! :-p

Gary's right, fashion accessories are for the barbie. Wingless ftw. :)

The spoiler itself is a nice touch, but its the downward-facing splitters on the sides of the wing that not only make it look extra-ricey, but also give it the "cheap" impression.

For the money you'd spend on it, put that money toward power mods, or better still --suspension! There's always better struts and springs to buy, or, you could replace some mounts with Group N stuff, or even some of your bushings. There's no better feeling than fresh bushings. :D

Ebay wing is the way to go. Make sure you send us a picture with the wing on your car so we can laugh at your car and know who we are laughing at.

I'm just playing...it's your car. Do what makes you happy.

lol...i didn't actually want to put it on my car, a buddy of mine decided to make one as part of a fiberglassing project he's working on and wanted to know if i wanted to put it on my car. i asked him if he realized that i spent $400 on my car and it's FWD...lol. Just figured i'd throw it out there for the sharks to bite on. but just for fun, i'll double sided tape it on there if he actually decides to make it and snap a photo.

At first I thought that a woman was driving that car. Then I realized, asian women can't drive.

That wing actually looks pretty good to me, I'd left the supports solid but then again, you can always spot the STi's because the scoop looks like it'd swallow you and the wing is just kinda ridiculously huge :).
