sunroof noise

Post by beemerben »

Hey guys the good news is my motor now works ok on the s/r. The other news is the when the glass opens you can hardly hear it but when the glass closes it sounds like a ride at disney world. Kinda like click click click... you get the picture I think. What is the best thing to use for a lube and can you do it with the glass element still in the car? Is it just me or do they all sounc like that? Thanks, ben

Mine doesn't sound clicky. Try a lithium grease or something.

Shouldn't this be in the sunroof problems thread?

Maybe it's that sunroof shade thing that slides back and forth.

Mine made a weird noise and thats what it turned out to be.
