Could you do me a favor and get me a drivers-seat shot of a dark road with the high beams and the 500's turned on?

A friend has them on his Impreza, but I never got a good feel for how bright they were.

I want some for the Forester.

Whenever would be cool.

I don't really intend to get these during the winter. I've got to many expenses on my plate as it is.

Are those the driving-light version, or the fog light version?

I assume, that high up, that they are the driving light version?

I want some driving light ones for up top, and some amber fogs to go in place of the OEM forester fogs.

yeah they are the driving pattern. I do alot of winter night driving getting to and from the ski resorts. after many close calls with deer last winter I decided I needed these, 1 avoided deer is certainly worth 96.16 (from local napa store) shoulda got them fom ebay. (~75 - 80 shipped)
