after swap, new engine can't idle

ive been researching around, trying to find this, and well, my car has been doing the same thing, starting but not idling.

my situtation is very different, i swapped the EJ22T into my impreza and wired it to the EJ22T ECU.

now it starts, i fixed the TPS problem (the wires change colors before they enter the ECU... black-white and white-black, (why???) anyways..

so now it will start and rev a bit but still wont idle, im trying to check the IAC but i need to know what the plug pinout is! i cant open josh's site since this computer is too slow... :( or id get the info there

looking at the IAC Valve:

( 3 | 2 | 1 )

3 is a white wire, (closed end)

2 is yellow/red stripe (power)

1 is a black wire, (open end)


can somebody verify this for me? i just guessed on those, and need to make sure it is right! thanks!!!

yeah, i have it backwards, the black and white are switched on the impreza, just like the TPS was!! what the heck subaru??

atleast i found out what was wrong and can fix it! thanks for your great site, i finally got on a computer i can read it. the FSM's have helped me a lot!
