Post by Kostamojen »

Its a bittorrent of the whole episode, and the shootout is about half way through. Cool stuff, heaps of praise for the Spec-B :D

P.S. the new Civic (not the one we got, the REAL new civic) is also featured in this...

Nice clip. I've never been disappointed by 5th Gear.
That Volvo looks stretched upward, like one of the XCs.

That is sweet. Did anyone notice that the subie had the 6 speed. The tails are also different from the USDM cars.

Huh? The spec B (at least USDM) is a turbo 2.5 H4, rated at 250hp. Rumors that the next spec B will have a six speed.

the REAL spec b is a 3.0R spec b with the STi prodrive. Ours is just a rebadged GT with a horrible interior

Yeah, when they announced the model last year I was stoked. . . then Subaru did it again and watered it down for us. :(

If you will notice, they tested the 3.0R which is a 6 cylinder chief...that's why I said that I thought it was interesting that they didn't test a 4 cyl!!!!

There are NO LHD Legacy turbos in Europe since 1994... none, zero, nada,... :( even specB is "hard to get" - on some markets only; we can be lucky to have EU... so we can buy LHD cars in Germany... spec B in EU is (as mentioned above) H6 + prodrive (5th gear says: "It's STi for boys with family")...

Overall - RHD markets have almost all available models (in UK some of them are gray import), UK + Canada - almost all; EU - all we have are 2.0, 2.5, H6, wrx, STi...

I bet you guys have never seen an EJ18 FWD LHD Legacy 2nd gen....
