So I started the Project. Im going to rebuild the block and maybe put these DOHC heads on it. I still have to decide what headgasket to use. Heres some pics of the heads for comparison. Pics are to show valve size differance.

power will fall off at stock boost levels, you'll need to turn the boost up some to get back to where you were, but it may not be noticeable enough to matter.
when I swapped from an EJ22G to EJ22T, I could feel the power difference immediately.
But now when I drive, I only know that it's slower than what the old engine was, but I don't know how much, I can't feel the difference anymore. You get used to it.
The main drive behind why people want to push their cars harder and harder and harder is because they get used to the power, and seek more.
The cheap solution is to drive your power car on the weekends and a beater during the week back and forth to work.
