The infiniti destroyed me from a red light, I was pretty impressed. Ive never seen a big car move like that.
The WRX flew past me as I was cruising, and I was having none of that. Dropped into second (I was going about 60mph), floored it, caught up in a few seconds, and overtook him.
The Q45 is pushing either 6 or 8 cylinders...and as we all say "There's no replacement for displacement."

Who cares? Do it in a school zone at 8 AM. Make those damn fat kids jump. Those that don't make it are too slow. Darwin's law strikes again.

Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.
Phil was right, it was most likely a G35...Q45's are sedans.

The Impreza wasnt from a standstill tho, I was cruising probably around 55 in 3rd, so I dropped into second to punch it up to 60 fast, then just kept my foot down, he dropped back before I got into 4th

Actually there is...it's called a Turbocharger
BTW...The Q45 is a 4.5 liter V8
Ok, let's take a stock SS and put it against my stock 3spd '77 vette. I think you'll be seeing rear bumper the whole way down the lane.

Then let's put the same SS against the same Vette on an autoX course and see who comes out on top
I thought I'd add something to this thread.
This is to the guy I saw racing on the highway in Orlando tonight: Just because you put bigger wheels on your VW Golf 2.sl0w, that doesn't mean you're going to be fast enough to beat a supercharged Mustang Cobra. I hate domestics, but I'm fairly certain that a 390-hp car will be faster than my 130-hp import. And I have stock wheels

The engine code on the infinity is VQ45 and there is a single kit readily available for this engine and there is talk of a twin turbo. The single turbo runs (2) FMIC's.

I wouldnt be surprised if the guy was running some sort of chip
It was a fairly old guy, but he had flash rims on it and such.
