EJ22 swap (again!)

Post by gustavohuber »

Hi, so I'm going to try an EJ22 swap again, and hopefully get this car running finally.. will a newer (OBD II) EJ22 fit in place of my OBD I EJ22 if it comes with the new ECU? The original is a 93 Legacy, the replacement engine might be one that a guy is selling on the board off a 98 Legacy.. Thanks!

Not without significant wiring changes. And it uses a single port exhaust header. Not really a straight swap...
