So what's everyone doing?

I started the festivities early. There's a local microbrewery here in Houston that gives tours every saturday....and also gives away free beer!!

I'm going here

I had to WORK today (inventory at the Yota dealer)...

I'm home now, so I still have the night to do something, but I'm so damn tired that I dunno if I'm even gonna do anything...

We got Carrabbas to go and it was great as usual. We are watching Ray (the movie) on the couch and listening to the neighbors blow their hands off with fireworks.

In a few minutes I am going to go turn on the police scanner so I can see if anyone I know goes to jail, hospital, or the morgue this evening.

I would like to take this time to wish each and every one of my LCO family members, a safe and happy new year. If 05 sucked ass for you I hope 06 finds you better off.

I went to Cleveland and had a blast! I got to sit in with a blues band at the Savanah Grill, went to The Tower Center, celebrated my friend's daughter's birthday downtown and saw an awesome blues singer on NYE at Wilbert's in the city.

Nick(555bcturbo) came up for nye and he's hanging with us for a few days. Tristan also made his way up, and jake came up the day after. It's been a crazy few nights.

Lets just say that Nick's not so good at checkers, and we saw a whole other side of tristan. ;)

Here's some photos from my New Years, if anyone's interested in that kinda thing.

Big Ben says 25 minutes to go. There was a gabillion people standing over the Thames, crazy crowded like Time's Square:

flattering picture of me, Melissa, and Ben as he strikes new year and fireworks start going off

And, because this is a car forum.... Here's a sexy car photo. We saw 6 Ferraris and a GC-era Impreza turbo in London in this one day... nummy.

well... I guess I should post up what I did too.... a little pary at the Stagger Inn (our private bar) the next day we went up to my friend's quarry and raced around a bit. I ate the sidewall in one of my tires running through the shale part. New turbo, skid pate and new tires later, I'm ready to do it again.
