Are you running a hydraulic or cable setup?

Which do you recommend?

What make/model did you get the parts from?

I'm running a cable setup. Nice and easy for IC plumbing and placement.

My brother is running the 2.5 rs tranny in his 92 SS. He's running the hydralic setup. Its easy to setup. One of the SS clutch lines CAN stretch to the slave cylinder, but it is a stretch. He's run it for over a year that way. We just ordered him the stainless steel clutch line from Z1 auto, so hopefully it will be a longer line in there soon. He also got an upgraded clutch when he put it all in.

Im running a 2.5rs tranny, i used cable clutch, but my car is a legacy L swapped to turbo. I have seen legacy SS use 2.5rs tranny with hydraulic too. Both swap are quite easy
92 l swapped to ej22T with 2.0T shortblock

I am running a 98 2.5rs trans ( car was an auto and did the swap ) I ran my hydro, but I have always preffered the feel of a hydro cluch master when running stiff pressure plates, gives a little less wear to the leg :D
