ok. duplicate sinario to 2 months ago, or whenever it was my timing jumped the first time (note i replaced the belt when I Did this the first time).
get off work 6am. Go out to a stone cold car. start engine. engine runs for maybe 2 heartbeats and dies(no sputter, no missfire. just turns off). Turns over but makes no effort to start.
Car ran PERFECT on the way to work. No sign of trouble at all.
Im assuming the timeing jumped. havent had a chance to tear into the car yet.
What would cause a car to jump time like that? My first though is one of my cams has a bind spot in its revolution somewhere that is magnified when the car is cold.
thanks in advance.

I'd replace the tensioner....especially if this is the second time this has happened....and everything else looks good.
