Coilpack insulation/paint
Just received my Diamond coilpack from Blackbart, and the paint on the iron plates is started to flake off. Should I repaint this before I install it, or does it not matter?

The only reason you should paint it is to keep it from rusting. Electrical insulation of the ferrite is unnecessary.
The primaries of the coil are grounded through the ignitor when the ECU thinks they should be.
The secondaries of the coil pack don't ground through anything -- the spark travels out one coil tower, through the plug wire, across the plug's gap into ground, through the engine block to the other plug, across the other plug's gap into the plug wire, through that other plug wire, and into the other coil tower.
