There are little things that might be hard to grasp if you haven't installed one of these units on an auto..
I can assure that there are differences between the manual and auto cars..
1. The ECU is different beteween the two cars (not the main issue here)
2. The Tranny/ TCU picks up a signal from the MAF and TPS that establish the shift points (none on a manual). Those have to be repinned as part of the install for the standalone. Consequently the Auto tranny was freaking (wouldn't shift on its own or into OD) out with the standalone installed.
3. The IAC valve is also different between the manual and auto cars.
Didn't really want to do a 5 speed swap in that car at that point..
At any rate, as mentioned previously, this ECU is for a 5 speed car, not AT, and is still for sale..
