Feed's pressurized pretty good, isn't it? ... you'd need a damn good hose clamp, maybe even a t-clamp. Not so sure the rubber hose would be all that happy that close to the turbine though, heat shielding may be in order too.

Nobody's done this right?

I used a -4 an steel braided line the threads on the banjo bolt is a 10.5 and I know that summitracing has pretty much any size attachment for steel braided lines. Total cost 30-40$ depends on which brand you decide to go with. That is what used but I have a oil line of a rhb5 from a 91 legacy with banjo bolt I will sell it to you for 15$ plus shipping.

well isnt the return line a rubber hose? the coolent hoses are, i can imagine that they get pretty pressurized.

The return line is low-pressure. Coolant hoses aren't exposed to oil.

If you decide to hack your own line, just make sure the specs of everything you use (fittings, hose, gaskets if any) are consistent with constant exposure to motor oil at a couple hundred psi and several hundred degrees. It's possible that SAE 30R9 fuel injection hose qualifies; I'm not sure.

well what about automatic transmission hoses? arent they exposed to high pressure? couple hundred psi? where does all that pressure come from when the oil pump doesnt do a whole lot more then 60 psi?

I was giving rough numbers with some safety margin.

Automatic transmission hose might work. Like I said, just check the specs.

If you use a hose that can be exposed to oil it will work just fine. Regular heater hose won't work, it'll soften up after a few weeks and eventualy burst. If the hose is rated for fuel it will probably be ok. I use fuel hose for transmission lines often and it works well. The heat exposure might make it harden up though, keep an eye on that.
