What turbo to use?
hey im wonder what turbo i should use in my car? my stock turbo is alright but the car needs to be warmed up really well before it pulls hard and just doesn't feel as long as it should. now should i just buy a rebuild kit fot this turbo or possible put in a td04 off a wrx? i'm not planning to run it too hard like 10-12 daily driving and once i get the fcd work done then mabbe the occasioanl run down the strip with 15psi, and i dont really want to spend a ton on a turbo like >$250 whats my best bet?

sti uses a vf39. i really great turbo. takes a bit of custom fab and you really restrict it when you use it unless you install it with a twist. i had one, search my name and "vf39" ive made several huge post's about it.
btw. you need to look for the first sti's vf39's if you are considering one. the recents (04 -*) have been reported to be cracked in the turbine housing

If you want to rebuild your vf11, let me know I've got rebuild kit I decided not to use. Just got another used turbo instead.
