pinhole in the upper hose on touring wagon this AM

Post by Bheinen74 »

Go start the Touring Wagon this AM to go to work, let it warm up like 7 minutes, to defrost the windows and ge tthe heat going. While it is warming up, come in to have coffee.
Go jump in car, smell antifreeze. Get out, look under hood, small drip of coolant. Pop the hood. Yep, small pinhole in upper hose.

Its 15 degrees F outside.
I get pissed.
call in to work notifiying car trouble.
Go to the 93 SS. Place Pasta cooker under car to catch antifreeze. Cannibalize the upper radiator hose on it. ( the alternator, Purge control solenoid, coil, battery are already out of this car trying to figure out my 92 SS problems.) crap
Only was 1 hour late to work.

Hope my neighbors dog didnt come lick up the antifreeze i spilled.
Does it ever end????

Need warm weather to put back together the 93 SS. Need it as a backup. Getting a upper hose for the 93 SS now. Getting clutch pack plates for 93SS too....more to come, make it stop.

Need to update my signature daily.

I had a small pinhole in my upper radiator hose. Ended up just moving the clap to cut it off.
