buying my 2nd t- leg
i have located a 92 white sport sedan in raymond maine for only 500 bucks, it has a blown auto tranny, but it only has 123k on the car. The guy selling it has no idea what he is parting with, it has 4 new perelli tires and new pads and struts plus a fresh sticker, I can swap in my manual ecu and a 5 speed and have it on the road in no time, it has very little rust in the usual subaru rust spots, if i fix it and make it road legal i will have a tottaly stock 92 ss with a badass system and a swapped 5 speed, and then my other legacy will be a 350 horse evo eater autoxing beast, and i will have to choose which one i take for the day every morning i go out to my driveway
93 Legacy L- FPgreen, 6 speed, Built motor, hydra, etc

I'm looking at buying my first t-leg.... it's been sitting in a driveway, and hasn't moved, since I moved to this town 4 or so years ago. no idea what's wrong with it, not sure what they want for it, not sure if it's even for sale.....
but with the amount of time it's been sitting I'm sure I can pick it up cheap... only problem is the owners seem to have a couple more legos so they might know what they've got
(
anyway I'll get my tax return this week and should hopefully be rockin a turboO!!!!!!!!

500 bucks! GET IT!
Motor, ECU, and harness foreward might be worth $1200? Brakes $200? Crossmember $200? Hood??
Shit, id sit on it, find a 93 Impreza L, and swap it all over.
Light mods(ej22t) in an L, will get you into low 14's, good boost in an L will put you at stock STI for a quarter of the price, if not less if your mechaniclly inclined.

I BOUGHT IT. 450 bucks for a 92 white t-legacy with 123k on the clock, blown auto tranny but otherwise the car is immaculate, not a single dent or scratch, just a little rust in the typical spots, i have an automatic tranny from a 93 non turbo, will it work in my new one?
