Lime Rock Vintage Races

Saw a later turbo sedan, silver, 5MT from Connecticut in the parking lot there today. Spent more time looking at it than the Bugatti Veyron the snooty people wouldn't let the great unwashed get too close to. I heard them close the door on it and it sounded kind of tinny, like my car. Not so impressed... Anyway, damn ADD changes the subject on me again - was this turbo anybody here?

our doors are a pain in the butt. If you get all the settings in spec, they sound like any other door- whump! but if the glass holders are loose (an easy fix btw) or something, they sound pretty crappy. 3 of mine were wierd, i fixed one and it was a pain in the butt, so the laziness/perfectionist ratio made me ignore the others.

I consider myself to be a legacy door ninja, btw. / <--(my ninja sword)

that bugatti is pretty tight. 4 turbochargers  , 16 cylinders. Its like 4 of our engines, at least 4 of our engines that have already been modded to 250hp.

Yeah, but the car wasn't really all that attractive. Interesting looking and smaller than I thought, but I didn't find it to be that impressive. Strikes me as kind of pointless one-up-manship for dear Mr Piech. Let's see it down a dirt road or in the snow, too. If I were to spend that much on a car it would be any number of historic race cars, pre-war era classics, or fifties-sixties sports racers. But I would feel like an a$$ spending that much on a car when so many people can't afford anything (like me). Oh, I'm only 26 - I just like old cars.
