I know how much everyone hates streetfire but deal with it. I went to a private road to film, otherwise i would have tried to get to top speed.
Sorry for the streetfire link, i know i killed a kitten or some garbage like that for linking to it but without further interuption.

I need to make a video of my speedometer, so you can see the gauge needle move in a fast Subaru!

Fast subaru? I thought mine was fast!
LOL
We do need more evidence of the fact subaru's do indeed rule on everything.
BTW, if my subaru is indeed not "fast", how do people pass up such an awsome manufacturer!!??
I wish i had a turbo 2.5....

For reference....
Your video plays for 13 seconds to get from 25mph to 80mph.
In the sound clip to follow, starting in 1st gear from a 15mph roll, I'm in 4th gear at 10 to 11 seconds. That's from 15mph to 90mph. Listen to the clip. At ~2 second mark, you hear the guy say "go" and it goes from there. Top of 3rd gear at the 12 second mark.
http://www.thawa.net/bac52/Sound%20Clips/incar.wav
I believe the specifics of that particular pull was relatively cool air, 14psi, the SAAB intercooler, and the 16g. I think the 16g was in for that meet.

When I get it back on the road, a video will come (though there won't be a working speedometer to go by). At least you'll be able to see how quickly the tach moves in a fast Legacy

Not too bad, I'm guessing you made it to the gas station before you ended up walking?

I got to drive a few turbo mazda's and ride in a couple turbo eclipses so i can only imagine what the boost in a subaru would feel like.
God killing kittens and shit is something i saw on another forum at one time or another because some people prefer to not deal with the pop ups and crap of streetfire. Should have been more specific with the refrence.
13 seconds? Thats much quicker than my buddys corsica!

It has to be hard to see around that engine. Completely unnecessary excluding bragging rights.

NEVER DRIIVE WITHOUT ONE! Its unsafe. I have a blog on Yahoo! 360* and i have a link to my old corolla that got hit head on. If i would have not had my SEATBELT ON! It wouldn't have been something i would have walked away from!
