If somebody has a working cd player, I'll buy it and you can have my POS, non-working one with beautiful buttons!

why dont you just spend atleast $100 and get a real head unit that doesnt suck at reading cds like an early 90's unit will with cd-r's. You also get much more control, better power output, pre-outs, and possibly an input aswell.

of course there is, walmart did not have it from all my searching. i had to go to best buy and bend over for their stuipid "meta" part. but yeah there is a harness, its the exact same as the one used for the scan tool for our cars, see electronics. no intent of thread jacking just trying to save you some trouble, OE units are almost never worth messing with unless your overly concerned about theft but... thats your choice

I bought a used factory unit, paid for shipping and then installed it and it crapped out after a few months. The stock ones are hard to find and I'm afraid if I get another one the same thing will happen, that's why I was checking out a new unit and having mp3 would be cool too. Thanks for the tip on the harness, I figured there was something available, they didn't have anything at wally world.

Anyway, back on topic...mine is available for shipping but it might be a bit before I can get it out of the car...doesn't work but has nice buttons...
