That spinning thing that makes all of the cool noises. OE and Aftermarket.

DIY turbo restrictor

Post by RallyRS »

Hi.

Im pretty cheap and want to make my own turbo restrictor for my RS legacy with a VF8 turbo. I just want to go racing and seems to be a never ending amount of money to be spent!

Has any got a designs on how to make one or images of one?

Thanks. I hopes someone can help.

The regulating body in charge of your racing probably has specifications about how the restrictors are to be designed, so you may want to check with them first.

It probably has to be within a certain distance of the compressor inlet, and that distance will probably influence the design of the restrictor too.
