2001 Outback suspension in my 93 Legacy Wagon ?

Post by subjfd »

Hi

I might be able to pick up a full setup (Shocks, spriongs, topplates) from a 2001 Outback for cheap.

I need to change my suspension, but I am wondering if it would fit. I do think so, but just in case, anyone with experience ?

Thanks

I was told to use any 95-99 Outback setup.

I have found 2 front-2 rear 97 Outback whole assembly (struts, springs and topplates for 75$Can each. Is it a good deal ? They are guaranteed 3 months from a reputable Subaru used part junkyard.

Cheers

I now that the rear top mounts from a 1998 outback do not fit a 90-94 legacy. 1997 may be the same. You can probably use your existing topmounts on the new strut assemblies though.

BTW, where in Canada are you from. I'm near Toronto (peterborough) and cannot for the life of me find a place with much in the way of subaru parts.
