Would these look good on my 90 BJ?

They came off a 97 Legacy OBW. I have the chance to pick them up for $100.00

Does anyone know what size rim this is and what size tire came stock? Are the stock tires too big for my Legacy?

Thanks in advance guys.

I just found these for $400.00 with no tires.

those are the same as turbo leg wheels, enkei 15x6, those tires are prolly like 205/70, would be a little too big fer yer legacy

I thought they looked familiar. I could always buy them and then sell the tires off to pay for new lo-pros for me.

word, $100 sounds like a deal, 195/60 or 205/60 are cheap and versatile - i wouldn't call them low profile

If those rims are 15 inch I am going to put 195/50/15 falkens on them. Thanks for the props on my ride. I wish it was a 5MT too. I'm too lazy to do the swap too. I think I would rather save my money for an SS with the 5MT.

195/50r15's are rated for 1019 max lbs. as opposed to the the stock size rating of 1201 lbs. I have used undersized tires on a legacy on two occations - both of which resulted in my tires going severly out of round. The first 185/60 r14 at 1047 max lbs. and the second 195/60 r14 at 1135 max lbs. Both of these are significantly higher then the 1019 your 195/50 r15's are rated at. Keep in mind I live in the mountains and drive hard on windy mountain roads, both paved and rough gravel. But if you drive hard, I suggest getting tires with a higher load rating rather then lower. Now I buy 195/70 r14 tires with a load rating of 1312 lbs., I have never had this size tire go out of round. Whether it be cheap Dunlops or nice Toyo's; they hold up great!

(granted those load ratings change a bit from tire to tire)

if you want 50 profile tires you should get wrx wheels. (or any 16" wheel). yer speedo's gonna be off and if you drive on the highway a lot yer gonna be reving high. Oh, and i hope the worst state has the best roads, cause pot holes is bad fer them lo-pros!

if you want my honest opinion, save your money, keep the 14" steelies, loose the hub caps and get a good set of 195/70 r14's.

but then i'm poor and i like to beat the shit out of my car. But for the $500 you paid for the thing - why not?

not to be rude, but turbo legacy rims have a five star pattern....

the rims you posted are outback rims and i think they put those on some imprezas too.

Legacy Turbos used these rims before any Outback or Impreza. The 5-armed star pattern was just used on 94 Legacy Turbos.

I have 195s on it, been good for a couple years now. They were all peely, so I sandblasted them and repainted. held up nicely.

I WLTB a set of four 15" 5 progressive spoke subaru alloy wheels with the SUBARU raised letters as found typically on early 90's turbo leggys and some imprezas

So these rims were OEM on turbo Legs?? I thought I was sorta unique when I pulled my set off a '97 outback and refinished them. But i guess that makes sense now that Ive seen so many of the 1st gen Legs with em.
