Naw, dude, I'm not proving anything. You're the one making silly claims -- you prove them.

92whitelegacy wrote:If you tell me where i can get a full 3" TBE for less then 750$ im all over it. I dont know anybody with a welder or anything. So when i get my exhaust done im gunna have to goto a shop for everything.

meineke quoted me-275$-350$ for full 3" piping and bunging a downpipe. thats not including a muffler and downpipe. So ill be hard pressed to get a TBE alone for under 700$
A local mom-and-pop muffler shop here in Orlando hooked me up with a full 3" TBE, mandrel-bent downpipe with flange (removable), and the rest of the exhaust was 3" press-bent. Since I had been there before with my Saturn and I knew the guy a little bit, I ended up with no cat. He got $50 for my old one at a junkyard, and the rest of the job cost me $450. I've been happy with that since. He used my stock exhaust's turbo flange for the downpipe he made me, and a standard 3-bolt flange on the bottom. Rest of the piping is one piece back to the muffler.

Thats cool and all, but here in pennsylvania im finding it hard to find a good exhaust shop. We have laws saying they cant remove factory cats, so they wont install a downpipe cause it eliminates all but 1. Which is gay! Once i get a job, somewhere automotive oriented ill be more in the neighborhood of an exhaust system, its not in the cards right now. Plus if i get one, my grandparents will be PISSED.

(We got laws too, most exhaust shops won't do that unless you know someone)
