92 legacy wagon......replacing rear brake pads......manual says if you've got rear parking brake (i do), be careful to compress pistons only slightly with c-clamp or you will damage the piston screw.
Also, to create enough clearance for the new pads, 'rotate the piston back in to the caliper with an appropriate tool'.
1. Where and what is the piston screw? photo?
2. What would an 'appropriate' tool be?
manual warns piston screw could be damaged? (rear brakes)

As I recall, our calibers don't have a screw type of piston. All you need to do is use a C-Clamp or one of the tools below to push the piston back into the caliber so there's enough clearance. Also, take the top off your brake fluid container so that it doesn't explode from back pressure.

Thanks fur all the replies....
.....I was mystified by the absence of a screw-whatsis. My manual is a Haynes....whatever happened to the guy who wrote the idiot books? I had a fabulous one for my 86 Toyota pickup....it would have even told me how to use a bar of soap if it was necessary.
