crap (fixed)

Post by bmxkelowna »

well i washed my motor today
i only did a light rinse of every thing
and the motor was hot so most of the water evaporated right away
but i took it for a drive
and some things wrong
its compleatly gutless now from 5psi and up
i had a CEL so i shut it off and turned it back on, it went away
but its still like this.
what should i do? should i leave it and see how it is in later/in the morning?

Wet knock sensor, would be my guess.

If you let the engine heat up all the way it should evaporate the water.
