MC MacGyver commercial

Post by Legacy777 »

I didn't watch the superbowl, so I didn't see it on there, but noticed it on TV the other day. Not too bad.

I used to watch MacGyver ALL the time.

Another show that'll show your age is Airwolf. I loved that show, especially when it was getting ready to fight and the music kicked in.....

Definitely all goodies.

Anybody else watch Airwolf? Or am I the only one.

Anyone remember the cartoon Bionic six or something like that.

There was this other show, I think it was on Nickelodeon (sp) or Disney where it was these kids (high school age probably) that setup Macgyver type stuff to solve crimes or mysteries....it's very vague I know.

I used to watch Airwolf. Damn those rich criminals and their Mirage fighters!

The thing I didn't like about the A-Team is that nobody dies. Cars could explode two feet from someone and they wouldn't even be hit by debris. Still, Mr. T and Murdoch made up for that.

I saw airwolf too but I didn't say so because it was already mentioned. The a-team was awesome because they would make such crazy stuff and put 2 tons of armer plating onto a pick up and it would still do like 80mph lol. I loved when they had the plan and then cut to the music and mrT cutting and welding crap. and of course who could forget one of my favorite quotes of all time "I love it when a plans comes together" I know it looks so fake now that people never died but I honestly never noticed when I was a kid. I think we were a generation before death and gore video games so it was not a common thing for us like it is today.

I grew up on Star Blazers first and people died in that all the time. It was great and nothing else fulfilled me after it was gone until movies later in life.

One of the best anime serials of all-time.

And Airwolf fucking kicks ass. Now, if only they'd release the rest of the series past the first season.

Do they have Star Blazers? I could use a wave motion cannon fix.

I've got a couple 6-hr vhs tapes with Airwolfs on them...redwolf, and hijackers landing a plane on the water. I've also got the original Airwolf movie where Moffet steals Airwolf, and you get to see why Archangel got his eye patch, etc.

Pretty cool shit.

I agree with evolution on the A-Team. Out of the millions of bullets fired at everyone - nobody died. All the various crap welded to that van and not one mark in the paint. B.A. never had flashburn or caught a hot spark.

But I LOVE A-Team and I still pity the fool.

Cool,

It'd be nice to see the order and what came from what season, etc. I saw quite a few of them, but not sure if I saw them all.
