"Will fit both GD and GC cars" it says. I'm not sure if GD engines will or will not fit. But, I would reccomend getting as much info as you can about the engine. The more info you have about it makes it easier for others on this board to help.

Well it looks like they build performance parts for Impreza's? check out thier website http://www.b-specusa.com/
that's hot.
yes it will fit but you'd have to spend a lot to use it's potential.

b-spec has been around forever.
That's probably an EJ22T block, by the looks of it in the pictures, so that means it came out of a Legacy.
Any EJ or EZ will fit in any Legacy/Impreza/Forester.

I wouldn't exactly call decades of cult following a "bandwagon".Tone-us wrote:Well guys I new to the Subaru bandwagon

Subaru's have always been cult cars. It's like corvettes for cheap people

No our cars have nothing to do with Corvettes. Our interiors are better quality after 150k miles than theirs are new!
Corvettes are midlife-crisis cars, through and through. I've driven a C6, and I wasn't impressed with it. The Viper at least has a smidgen of personality...
