Can't remember where the post about finding the part numbers for the front fog lights on my BF is, but thought I'd probably ought to give a progress report...
I've tried to find a part number on the lights, but reckon that they're going to need taking out to find it. There is a number embossed into the inside of the lens, but I can't make it out.
So I called my local dealer, but they won't give out part numbers without the chassis number and I don't carry it about my person...
I wouldnt get the fog lights, they arent so great. The more important part of the kit is the switch that fits perfectly. The relay that comes with the kit isnt very big.
I have looked at both the stock JDM foglights for the gen-1.5 Legacy and at the plastic housings for the very rare lights that some dealers installed on 1990 USDM Legacies and neither of them have FHI part numbers on them.

Thanks Rob, I was wondering if you were able to find any info on that. I personally like how those lights look in the bumper. I'll weigh the cost of those versus aftermarket and make a decision then. The other problem is finding a brand that fits the whole correctly.
How they look in the bumper? The foglights installed in the US on the few cars I have seen with them are external rectangle units. Maybe this was only for 90-91 though.
just a heads up! to put the turbo fog lights on the 92-94 turbo corectly you have to change the whole bumper beam. since we got aibags we got this big azz bumper beam......

Right, from what I gather the fog light dealer-installed option was only available in 1990. Those bumpers had no holes for fog lights but the lights mounted neatly underneath the upper bumper lip. The 92-94 US-market turbos have the same bumper as the same generation turbos in other markets, so they have the little holes for fog lights, but Subaru of America never sold lights for them.
