Spent a little quality time with my wagon...
Since she's been having some issues, I figured I'd spend some time giving her some TLC. So cosmetics wise, I removed a dealer sticker that was back there, debaged the Subaru and Turbo 4wd, and cleared the tails. Next weekend I'll get rid of the pin stripes and maybe the orange reflectors on the side plus give her a good wash. Comments are welcome.

They were looking pretty raggity and the Subaru one was basically falling off. I took them off with the intent of re-finishing them. I dunno what I want to do though, probably red background with black lettering. I'll probably body match the stars badge too.206er wrote:I would have left the badges on, they are kind of rare.
Ya that's a good idea. I'll probably get to painting stuff this summer.AWD_addict wrote:I'd paint the wiper arm while you're at it.
Go for it, it was easy and it looks way better. I hated the orange on the sidemarkers so I went ahead and dumped those too. No more orange for me.subyluvr2212 wrote:I want to clear the tails on both my Legacy sedan and wagon...

just buy a new one. they are $32 at the dealer. it will look better and the spring will be new and strong so the wiper will work better.AWD_addict wrote:Nice TW. I'd paint the wiper arm while you're at it.

We meet every other week, so it's this week or week after next. I know one of the RS guys was eyeing your SS so it's not a bad idea to bring it out. Hope to see ya tomorrow.Sk3oSH wrote:looks good man. def get those badges back on. i dont know if im going to be able to sell my SS, so i think im going to just keep it and overhaul it. ill have tocome out to some RS meet this week or next. this is danny by the way

pinstripe removal is a major pita, I'd try to remember how you're supposed to do it but I can't (2 days of skiing+just got home=death) I did remove the stripe on the replacement door for my car with a heat gun and razor blade, heated it up, pried the end up with the razor and just gently pulled
but Laurel is right, the e-tape works well for chrome blackout but not for the pinstripe, oh and wash that beautiful thing

Whoa, I've never seen a pinstripe like that on the TW or SS. Is that OEM Laurel?
