feedback?

Post by 92ss »

is there a place to let others know how transactions on this site went? like warning others when some one rips you off?

People are usually vocal about when they get screwed. Thankfully it doesn't seem to happen between users very often on this board.

Usually, its miscommunication that causes problems.

Sounds like a reason to start a rant thread in the ashtray, and perhaps a warning thread in the Parts Shed or Vendor Garage, depending on who the member was.

Check this thread first though, it sure would be coincidental if it turned out to be the same guy...

http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?t=25535

Edit: you know, it wouldn't be a bad idea if the board had one more field on each profile, one that only other members could add to or subtract from; a la eBay's member rating system. I can see how it would be tough to go searching through old posts to see if this guy you're about to buy parts from has screwed other people in the past. Isn't this BBS software open-source? I'd be willing to help implement such a feature, although I wouldn't be much help until I'm in NV...

I don't remember when he first got here, I do remember discovering another Subaru member in my state and it was him. I'll have to do some searching...

huh, I don't think that's it...but I would be shattered to hear so. He didn't do that on SLi, ever, but he did get banned after he pissed the admin off (Shane gets touchy sometimes  )

yeah, he had a problem with the moderators over there "surpressing his freedom of speech/expression"

That also happened on SLi, where he started posting links to nudie sites on a "hot chicks" thread.

We told him no, and it got sour from there on. After that, he came back here. Now he's off the radar completely.

that would be the dick in question.

on the feedback thing, it's sweet to have. we've got it on preludepower.com and it's great. also there is a trader rating numer next to your name for quick reference.
