Introducing myself, Updates!

I will see, what I can do. A friend off mine can look up all the prices. New from dealer. I also think he has a few sets spare! I don't speak him very often, because his job is in Germany and he travels very much every day.
When I speak to him, I will ask. In a while, every American Legacy is driving with EUDM headlights

Hi, I posted in your topic too my friend
Strange, I think that all the 2.2 models have heated seats here!
But we have indeed different cars at different markets.
Overhere in 1992:
- 1.8DL 2WD (everything manual, doors, windows, mirrors)
- 1.8GL 2WD/4WD (everything electrical)
- 2.0GL 2WD/4WD (pretty much the same as de 1.8GL)
- 2.2GX 4WD (like 2.0GL, but with electric roof, heated seats, leather steering wheel, discbrakes at the back etc.)
- 2.0 turbo 4WD (with ABS, 200bhp etc.)
My car is the 2.2GX, so almost the topmodel. Extra option on my car is the ABS, nice, but not in the snow

May I remind everybody that cars in the states are very cheap
For the record,
The cheapest NEW Legacy costs here 30000 euros. That's 36000 dollars.
The cheapest Legacy in the USA costs 21695 dollars
We get a 2.0 engine while you guys have a stronger 2.5 engine
So, take my heated seats and let me buy cars for American prices!

Yes the prices of petrol in the EU are high. But i didint know that you pay 1.40 for 1 liter. We pay ˝only˝ 0.95.SP-Boxer wrote:You think so?
Maybe you're right, but do you have any idea what the petrol prices are?
We pay 1,40 euro for 1 liter unleaded fuel!
When you drive a lot, half your income dissapears in you petroltank...
But anyway, it al has advantages and disadvantages
And if you ask me, i would never trade in my subaru boxer (it purrs so nice) for a stinking passat diesel.

In Argentina we have
1,8 GL FWD
1,8 GL 4WD
Both of them with AC, electric windows, manual or automatic transmision.
2,2 GX 4WD rised roof, roof racks but if you have roof racks, you can´t have roof window.
With or without alloys wheels.
We also have a 2,2 version.
All of them Sedan and Wagon. All GX versions have ABS.

But how much would you pay for registration? Here in slovenia i would pay more than 1250 Euros for registration of a turbo.SP-Boxer wrote:Well, ofcourse I get a little discount, but at the moment I still pay 1,32...
1 year ago it was only 1,17...
and 2 years ago it was 1,10 or something...
But I agree, I will NEVER trade my 2.2 slurping Boxer for another car. I even want a turbo!

Pfft, so, buying a new car is even more expansive then in Europe...
For registration, in Holland we pay for the weight of the car. For my 2.2GX (1305kg) I pay 600 dollars a year. A turbo would be one step higher so probably it would cost something like 650 dollars.
Ofcourse there's insurance left. The older you are, the lower the prices. I'm 20 and for a turbo I would pay 1500 dollars

My god, it has been 1,5 years ago since I've updated here
I did a few things in the mean time.
- I found a matching rearseat in Germany
- I installed a 8000k Xenon HID kit
Right in the picture
- Bought a set of STI type R Impreza aluminium arms(???)
Didn't install them yet
- Bought some 17x7,5 STI wheels and painted them silver
- Went on vacation to Italië
- And I bought a BC Sports suspension kit
They kit is fully adjustable. Damping, pre-load and height!
And that's it for now

Thx!
That hitch isn't stock. The dealer shop can install when you buy the car. And overhere they allways make a hole in the rearbumper
Glass headlights is difficult for me. My adjustment was broken, so I changed my headlights, but now I have one broken glass
I can get another set off 2, but will change my broken one. So I'll only have a right one than for spare.
When I can get a set, I'll do my best to save them for you guys.
Foglights are also rare overhere, so I have to dissapoint you
