On the way to work...

Post by Penguin »

So my daily drive is my Motorcycle, My wife drives the turbo (cause she likes the power :-D ). And I just picked up a 78 GLDL 4WD wagon. I am rebuilding the ea71 right now and making it SPI, so she can drive that and then its DOHC time for the turbo.... anyways

For the first time yesterday I filmed my bike ride to work, And FOR THE FIRST TIME I rolled up on a turbo Sport Sedan, I knew it was a leg. form far away and I like to check out bf-bc's even thought i am not in mine. So I come flying up this BIG hill doing about 70 not thinking it was a turbo. then I see the spoiler on the trunk and as I am about to pass her I float the back tire and start filming her. scaring the hell out of the nice old lady driving it. I felt kinda bad, I didn't mean to scare her i was just really excited. But I can see how a guy on a crotch rocket flying up on her doing a one handed endo while filimng HER, might spook her.

But It was cool.... well cool for me
Sorry Turbo leg lady,... where ever you are

a 78 "DL+GL" as per my 1975-1979 subaru parts catalog, Model code A67F4YR or ID# A67L-201447 and after. she is soooo old school i love it.

And pics of the car i can do when i find some free hosting this weekend

The video is 250 megs (the whole ride to work) so i need to edit it down a bit, and I will admit it isn't the best. She is only on film good for about 10 seconds before she slams on her brakes. I was riding one handed so i couldn't down shift in time to stay with her... and keep filming.
but i will get it up...
