Hardly a professional job, JB weld and Krylon, but it should do until I can afford to get some real body work done this summer.

From more than about 6 feet away, you dont notice it unless you're looking for it.

Probably do more damage to the surrounding paint than fixing the patch

the paint match is pretty good. what paint brand and color?
I have two white legs and wouldnt mind finding a good matching color out there. anybody else know what the closest match is from a discount store for the white t-leg.

exactally, you should have waited, now you've just made it that much harder on the body man who has to now fix that the proper way when you go to paint your car...

Yes, I'm sure that would have been much better. Instead of a bit of additional sanding and prep work, repairing all the rust in the trunk from water seepage.

I can see how that'd be a great idea.

You can get black rubber plugs in various sizes...I bet that would look a bit nicer than your creative JB Weld work :shock:
