Those look great.

My brother kept bugging me to get some nice 17" wheels for some style and handling until I showed him my WRX rims painted semigloss black. He took it all back, saying "those are the perfect wheels for your car." :)

Yeah, I was thinking about powdercoating the WRX wheels I have in a dark color, but not totally black. It looks good man!

I was hoping a response would come fast. It looks slow because you arent out spinning in all that beutiful snow covered pavement! I dont even see many tire marks in the area.

I dont see any islands or light poles, why not take an image mid spin!

For action vids, take a look at my vids (in my signature) (i suggest "Drift_incar_lebourgneuf) ! :)

Should be a good challenge to trigger a camera on auto-shot (15sec countdown) and try to pass in front of the camera (drifting of course) before picture is taken.... all alone ... ;)

hehe

Dare to take the challenge ? :)

LegacyT : Right-click and Save-AS .. the video. my DLS modem is too slow to do Streaming video ;) , so mediaplayer only streams the audio.

Ciper : We are now receiving the "after-effects" of the storm that NY got yesterday, so i'll try to take That "challenge picture" tonight ;) hehe

I'm actually picking up a set of '01 RS wheels today or tomorrow. I've got to figure out some cheap tires before I get 'em mounted up. I'll be sure to post pics when I get 'em.

I'll probably go with some remolded tires (remoullés). A friend just did that, and it pretty damn cheap, and the tires looks great ! (he runs a 2.5RS with STI V2 drivetrain.. tires are for daily driving only of course, he has another set for track racing)

for comparison, a set of 225-50-16 Khumo Exsta 712, in a group-buy, costed me 613$ CAN installed, balanced, tax included.

My friend had his set of 205-55-16 "Techno Extreme" at 285$ CAN installed balanced, tax included. that's a good deal imo. :)

Sounds good! I just got my '00 RS wheels on about three weeks ago. They look super good. I haven't posted pics yet because I haven't washed the car in a while and I'm a 'lil embarrassed :?. I hope to get some pics taken this week though as I'm house sitting for someone with a garage and a place to wash the beast .
