replacing struts

Post by greg donovan »

so, i have noticed that my left rear AGX is leaking pretty bad. the whole thing is black w/dirt now instead of red. and even set at 4 (out of 8) the rear of the car is a little more bouncy than the front set at 3 (out of 4).

is it ok to just replace one strut or will that make it ride "wierd?"

these were purchased by the previous owner before the AGX was ofered w/the lifetime warranty like they are now.

replace both rears

For balance it would be best to replace both rears. They are eight way adjustable now. If the left one went out, is the right one also going to blow soon? I would guess that there is a good probabability of that. You would get the better warranty also.
