SEARCHING FOR engine stand built of 2x4's thread.

i need to build a temoprary engine stand and all i have are 2x4's . there was a thread earlier about it but i cant find it. doesn anyone have info on the dimensons of the oil pan so i can get started??

josh thats exactly what im looking for. do you have any idea what the distance is between the 2 sides. ie teh distance between the 2 vertical 2x4's

first build the uprights, set the engine on them, mark where it needs to be and tack some 2x4s as the base. they dont even have tobe cut short, you could ad a little stability, not like it needs it though.

It's 19.5" from the center line of one vertical 2x4 to the centerline of the other vertical 2x4
