The OEM tips are held on by a clamp type setup. The clamp typically rusts off....the chances of you finding a good pair are probably not too hot.

Putting the stock exhaust back on and I'm still looking for a pair. Would the dealer be a good place to look? Any idea how much the pair would run? Thanks.

I think they are around $35 at www.subarugenuineparts.com. I got one for my daughter's 1994 a while back.
