Saltair Wrecking Yard Trip

Post by Splinter »

Hey me and some people are heading up to the Saltair Subaru wrecking yard on saturday, if anyone has any small parts they want me to pick up for them, post them in this thread along with the max price you'd pay for them.

What do you consider to be a small part?

Hmm

Just be reasonable, no hoods or fenders, complete driveshafts, rear seats

It needs to be able to fit inside my legacy.

I'd pay $80 US shipped for a set of black or gray manual seatbelts in good condition.

If they have Foresters there, I want the cup holder from a 2000 - 2002 with the brown looking interior. It held 2 cups. 98's only hold one cup.

I'd pay a few bucks. I dunno. 10 bucks?

With manual belts you can use the CG Lock to secure the lap part of the 3 - way seat belt.

Got them on mine :D

I hope it's not too late to ask!

For my 1992 Legacy:

The little bar that hangs down under the pop-out cut holder in any color (they're probably only in black anyway, but it's so basic I can just paint it). The whole cup holder assembly is the same for 90-94 models, I know that, but I only need the little drop-down under-bar.

Any and all of the four/five (one is a pair) upper air vents (air directors) IN BEIGE (tan? same thing more or less, right?) for legacy 92-94 only (I believe). Complete left and right movement of the inner fins is a must, that's why I need them.

$15 shipped for all those would be great, but I'm flexible I suppose.

 Any turbo Leg crossmembers there I could simply buy for you, Sean? Would be easier just to reimburse you for one rather than haul it one up there. ;)

Plastic MAF sensor, $20 max?

Turbo wastegate control solenoids, $20 max ea?

Forester springs/shocks (struts?)/front halfshafts, $50 max? (looking for Legacy lift)

Tone-us - I'll see what i can do about the ebrake handle

lotwolf30 / vrg3 / 206er - I'll see about those seat belts

BAC5.2 - I'll see what forester things they've got

Soul Shinobi - I'll see if they have a good condition cup holder (prolly won't be able to separate the actual bar piece from it cause they want to sell complete parts, unless its already "broken" off)

Gus S - I'll see what price there looking for the wiper motor

free5ty1e - I'll find out what there lookin for the complete shock assy from a forester, but please note they prolly won't come cheap and shipping will be expensive cause there heavy mofo's). And the ecu plug I'll find out for ya, i'll see if they've got any with a already separated wiring harness cause i doubt that they'll want to cut a working harness. And i might already have a MAF sensor/ control solenoid , but i'll check to see what price there looking for one anyways.

PLEASE EVERYONE give me a couple of days to respond, as I'm going to be busy doing the trans swap on Splinters car over the weekend, so I'll be a little busy to post prices on what I've found. THANKS for you patience, Sean aka "the stupid impretzel owner"...lol.
