Yet another broken coolant tank Q

Post by rad rex »

I did an extensive search BEFORE posting this, I just need a final word from you guys, yes or no. None of the threads I found gave me a good answer.

Can I run without the coolant tank temporarily until I find a replacement? I have an infamous broken nipple and I'm trying to fab up a fix. I'm heading to a rally-x tomorrow and I don't want to cancel in case my ghetto fabrication doesn't work

If I understand correctly the turbo doesn't HAVE to be cooled, I just need to idle for a bit before shutting down.

If this is the case, what do I do with the lines going to/from the tank?

*crosses fingers*

Thanks to the all knowing all seeing Greg Donovan, I fixed it this morning. Off to the mud we go.
