Why buy a car with all the modding already done? Then you get neither the joy of doing it yourself, nor the knowledge that it was done properly with planning and care.

I've gotta say... turbo FCs are pure fucking sex ... I plan to own one.... but they do tend to be tempermental cars, so I would use one as your primary transportation, especialy after mods which raises the unreliablility risk on any car, especialy tempermental ones

Makes me wanna drive my Supra right now.

I have a friend who has a modded 87 Turbo II, and it is by no means his daily driver...

Don't do it man, you will honestly be working on it EVERY DAY

hmm well thats good to know about them, because really, i dont have the time or money to be working on it every day.

they just look so good though and this one has more mods done to it then i will be able to aford to do to mine.

and the idea of having 300,000km on my car kinda scares me plus not having working awd kinda sucks

Salvage yards have plenty of Legacy parts, and interoperability between generations helps keep these cars running. You may not look or sound like a D1 drift car, but you'll also not have to worry about running lean that ONE time.

If you can afford $9k for a premodded car, why not space those mods on your current car over the next few years, same as a car payment.

there is not much around here what so ever for used parts.
it helps that tons from the imprezas will bolt right on to our car though.
i cant aford that right flat out, i would have to sell the legy and use the little bit of money i have saved up.

do you guys even think its worth doing performance upgrades when my awd does not work and it has almost 300,000km (186,000miles)

Engine performance upgrades might not be the best thing to do, but I guarantee that there are higher mileage engines out there with a lot done to them with few problems. Make the car better to drive with improved handling, braking and the like.

Making more engine power isn't going to help that cause, trust my experience on that. I think you'd probably be better off fixing your car or returning it to a stock condition and finding a better Sport Sedan than getting that FC.

My initial fealings of the wankel engine is that they are awsome. Lots of high RPM fun. But the mazda rotary engines need there seal replaced about every 80-100k miles under normal driving conditions. A moded engine could only be worse I would think. My friend had one and loved it for his drifting competitions....until he had to start tearing down a rare engine and finding parts for cheap.

From the sounds of the above you don't have a lot of $$ to through into a car...don't get this one, they can get a bit out of control.
