silver 1994 legacy touring wagon
the good:
im the second owner, ive had it since november 2004 (little old lady owned it until then, had 58k miles on it when i got it)
88,xxx mostly highway miles, never abused
absolutely zero rust, 2 small dings, a few paint chips on the hood
tape/cd player, sunroof all functional
interior is immaculate, no tears, etc (cargo area carpet looks brand new)
in the last 30k miles replaced:
all brake pads
the timing belt and water pump
some leaky cam seals
every other recommended factory service for that interval (have receipts)
oil changed every 5k miles or so
the bad:
will need tires in the next 10k miles
i think the heater core just went, and its been leaking coolant, not severely, but youve gotta keep an eye on it every other day or so to keep it topped off.
it also has some small oil leaks around the front of the engine and around the right side valve cover, i put a 1/2 quart in after 3k miles.
reason im looking to get rid of it:
i havent driven it in the last week because of the coolant problem and since ive got another car. i drive 70 miles round trip to work and its not very good on gas, especially with prices as high as they are. it has been very reliable other than this recent coolant problem, but i just want something a little more economical to commute in.
if someone is willing to buy it as is, great, if not i will get the heater core fixed and sell it that way, its really up to the buyer. i am a bit of a DIYer, but i dont feel up to the task of pulling the dash, etc.
the price is negotiable, but i am not in a huge hurry to sell...ive got until the weather starts getting cold again.
im fairly certain there arent too many around in this condition, with this few miles on them, also taking into account the scarcity of them when they were new, so:
3900 neg
im located in york, pa. thanks for looking.
