FS: Weapon R Rising Rate FPR
I have for sale a Weapon R Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Regulator...
It is in nice shape, and has a little gauge on the top that reads to 5 Bar I believe.
It works fine, no leaks, I just have no more need for it.

I think it might be 12:1, but I am ultimately unsure...
It seems to raise fuel pressure a lot per PSI though, so that is what brings me to my conclusion.

But you're positive it is actually a rising rate regulator? I have to ask because so many people seem to think that a 1:1 regulator (with or without adjustable base pressure) is an RRFPR.
What kind of fittings does it have? 5/16" hose barbs, I'd imagine? What about the vacuum fitting? A 1/8" hose barb or something?

Yes, it has 5/16 barbs and a 1/8th vacuum barb.
It is for sure a rising rate, as I watched the gauge when I revved it, and it raises pressure greatly as it progresses towards boost.
I did not buy it new, so I don't know the actual ratio, but from what I gather, most Weapon R regulators are 12:1.
It is base pressure adjustable as well as rising rate.

Thanks for your patience answering my questions.
You tested it by revving with the car stationary? So manifold pressure stayed below atmospheric, right? So this RRFPR acts at all times, not just on boost? How did that affect driveability at cruise and low loads?

While driving, due to the high rise rate, it would dog out the car a bit at the lower RPMs, but once on boost it would pull like a mofo. Wait, I thought Vikash kinda had dibs here. I probably would have bought it(if my car was fixed) but I didn't want to steal the deal from V.

Well, in fairness, I only said I was interested, and I think my questions did make it fairly clear that I wasn't sure.
In any case, it's always the seller's prerogative to sell to the first person who pays. I've been on the other end enough times to understand how frustrating it can be to wait for someone who's called dibs to pay up, and how much more frustrating it is when they back out, as they do occasionally.

Binford- I knew that Vikash was not really interested in it, and when I recieved a PM saying that the individual wanted the part, I sold it to them.
