New Garage with House Attached! Pics - For real

Post by evolutionmovement »

The upstairs is torn apart with replacing some of the previous owners' bad taste (like fake ceiling beams made of foam and a brick wall/partial floor-over-old-hard-wood made to look like a fireplace that had been bricked up (!)) Anyway, that's my brother-in-law and sister's part of the house. I have the down stairs with an enclosed porch. Backyard has lots of flowers and shit and is secluded. Pool's small, but hopefully my ex's kids will like it enough for her to come by ... so they can play with my nephew, of course. There's also an adjacent quiet playground with a basketball court and baseball field.

Can't wait to make a second sleeping area on the porch for the hot days in summer (yes, Laurel it does get damned hot here!)

Most importantly, the car's happy in her single (but fairly large) one-car garage. FWD turbo soon to come.

This is why this house was so damn expensive (you off the coasters would be shocked what this cost). The rooms look really small in these shots, but are actually average sized. Much decorating needs to be done.

Me and the GF just moved into a place with a 2.5car garage, and after 3 years of being garage-less, it rules :D

Woah, go Steve, congratulations. That's awesome to hear things are going well and you have a garage.

Any new news on the book?

We've got an eleven car garage but its not attached. No, really it used to be a body shop. But its too full of crap to be of any use right now. And there's a boat in it.

Wow, Steve, that's awesome! Really exciting. And you can have a lot of fun doing projects on a house, too.
